Swiss primary care is at an early stage of implementing the
APN role. It reveals that despite scepticism from GPs, the first
pilot projects are implemented successfully along role models from anglosaxon countries. The lack of regulations and reimbursement
schemes is a chance since it leaves room for testing. We discuss four of these case studies and assess the achievements and remaining challenges for further implementation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
